SALINGER’S CAFE BEES

If you have ever been to the historic Salinger’s Cafe in Great Western you would know about the famous beehive there. Safely behind perspex, you can come and watch these busy bees at work bringing in pollen to the hive and making delicious honey. These bees are very lucky to have one of Australia’s most renown Apiarist, Peter Kaczynski from Ararat looking after them.  Did you know Honey Bees can fly up to 25km an hour and their little wings beat up to 200 times a second? They can also recognise faces as they piece together parts of the face, just like humans do. Located towards the back of the store, you can check out these bees while enjoying a coffee and cake at Salinger’s Cafe.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
